A market leading global company in media & marketing, based in London, is looking to hire a Team PA to support a team of 10, including the Vice-Chairman, and a number of directors operating in political communications. You will also be part of the PA team of 5 PAs operating in the different teams. The ideal candidate will have previous PA experience, and show demonstrable organisational and diary management skills, including all logistics such as travel and accommodation. One of the key elements of the role is monitoring the RNS (regulatory news service) so as to keep up to date with the market and to upload announcements. You will receive training on this as it is an important duty, however, it is an exciting aspect as it requires you to do in depth research into industries and companies that are going through transition and allows you to directly affect the business by compiling reports/drawing conclusions. As a result of this, there is a lot more scope than most PA roles to get involved in other projects and to really grow your skillset. You will receive all the training you want and need, and will be in direct contact with senior figures who you will be able to learn from.
Other responsibilities for this role include re-formatting word documents and putting together powerpoint presentations, therefore a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office is key. It is a client facing role so being well presented and articulate is important. The company also run events for their high-end clients and so the 5 PAs will join the Events team on occasion to help organise and co-ordinate them.
This is a really exciting opportunity to join a vibrant, dynamic company, offering you the chance to do and learn a lot more than an ordinary PA role. There is of course a large secretarial element to the role, however, the additional duties you will have make this a really unique and informative position. The company is offering a salary between £38k-£42k as well as some great benefits. You will receive overtime pay where necessary as the nature of newslines (RNS) means that on occasion there will be something that comes in late/early, though this is not a common occurrence. As well as this you will get a discretionary bonus scheme, health insurance, pension contribution, and 25 days holiday plus public holdidays. The office itself is state of the art with amazing views around North London, as well as incredible facilities including plush meeting and board rooms, an onsite canteen, and a variety of different work spaces.
