We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established professional services firm for an experienced Business Development Executive to join their growing team in the UK! This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for a driven individual to utilise their existing commercial experience, and work collaboratively to expand the organisation’s portfolio and work collaboratively to improve their overall business development strategy.

Your day to day responsibilities will primarily involve, but are not limited to:

• Focusing on business development strategies for new and existing accounts, working within various sectors and attending meetings with the partners to discuss programmes
• Analysing relevant financials, trends and patterns and produce reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborating with the bids teams on tenders, developing sales proposals for new processes and procedures, and producing documents and material to promote the firm’s services
• Working closely alongside the Business Development Manager and Head of Marketing to plan and support strategic activities such as conferences, events and online marketing material within specific sectors for long-term growth and development
• Ensuring all client contact information and business development activity is recorded accurately on internal systems, with relevant data, credentials and reports accessible for analysis and review
• Working alongside internal and external stakeholders on various firm and sector-wide projects when necessary
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes to successfully deliver in this role:
• Ambition, drive and be self-motivated to work independently as well as part of a team
• Clear and strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent time and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and clients

This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid-working position based in Birmingham, paying circa £30k annually depending on experience. Previous business development experience within professional services is desired.
