This support role deals closely with the office manager and the investment team! Although the work is more on the administrative side, dealing with client communications, valuation reports etc there is a good possibility for progression and longer term prospects! This support role requires a willing, organised and sociable person as the role itself is rather involved and deals with both lots of people especially working towards the management of clients and lots of admin! The team is very tightknit and busy so if you like a close dynamic work environment this is the job for you! Because this job is focused on the long term and truly does have the option for future development there is the possibility of being supported in completing relevant qualifications! This opportunity truly provides a strongly supported upward trajectory within the company!
Key Responsibilities:
Team Admin; Collaboration with the team and wider departments, maintaining client accounts, direct communication with clients, and intermediaries to follow the progress of new investments and troubleshoot possible issues, to administer payments, managing client files, to ensure adherence to compliance regulations, setting up client meetings including organising refreshments.
Qualifications & Experience:
• GCSE (or equivalent) level including Maths and English. A-Levels preferred.
• An industry recognised qualification, i.e., the Investment Operations Certificate is advantageous but not necessary.
• Experience of working in a similar environment is preferable as is a general understanding of the stock market and investment operations.
Knowledge & Skills:
Good communicator, Good typing skills, Highly organised, and numerate, The ability to work under pressure, critical thinking, initiative and problem solving, a strong team player, the ability to work well independently, enthusiastic and personable
