A high-end interior design company based in the heard of Central London are looking for a temporary showroom coordinator to join our team. This role is set to start in January and will be ongoing for a period of 1 month, with the potential to become a permanent position at the end of the temp role.
As the first point of contact for their clients, it is crucial that the successful candidate has excellent people skills and a friendly, professional demeanor. Experience in high-end hospitality would be a plus, as would a background in interior design or architecture, although this is not essential as personality is the key factor.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the showroom is always neat and tidy, checking office supply levels and reordering where necessary, replenishing brochures for visitor use, answering phone calls, and greeting clients. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in preparing parties and events, so a pro-active and socially inclined personality would be a great-fit.
The ideal candidate will have a bright, energetic, and engaging sensibility, as well as a good sense of humour. You will be well presented and have a muck in attitude, willing to take on any task when needed. You will also have strong communication skills, as you will interact with a range of clients including private individuals, architects, and prospective clients.
