A global financial services company based in the City of London are seeking an experienced Onboarding Specialist to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with 1-2 years of client onboarding experience, preferably within financial services, to take on a key role in the company. This is a 3-month fixed term contract with the potential for it to turn permanent for the right person, paying a day rate of £220.
Key responsibilities:
- Assessing KYC details such as document verification and payment flows
- Accurately recording information in systems and checking for anomalies
- Working with the sales team to complete CDD, KYC/KYB review to onboard business clients
- Ensure that KYC/KYB and CDD best practices are observed and a culture of constant improvement is applied across the process
- Building relationships with front office staff and the compliance team
Key requirements:
- 1-2 years of client onboarding experience, preferably in financial services
- Working knowledge of KYC, CDD and AML regulations and processes
- Proactive, organised and efficient with the ability to self-motivate and motivate others
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships
- Adaptable
- Effective at meeting deadlines
