Excel Careers and Excel Interim provide multilingual administrative support staff to companies across all sectors, specializing in profiles such as Receptionists, Management Assistants, Executive / Personal Assistants, HR Assistants, Sales & Marketing Assistants, Office Managers, Customer Service Representatives and Digital Marketing Officers. We provide both permanent and interim contracts.

We are currently recruiting a Legal Secretary for one of our clients, an international law firm located in the center of Brussels. You will have to provide the lawyers with a well-executed and timely administrative support and therefore play an active role in the daily running of the office. Missions are to be executed in Brussels with possibility of working from home (2). Salary package : monthly salary in line with experience plus fringe benefits.

The role is inclusive of, but not limited to :
  •  Creating, editing and producing varied type of documents following the lawyer’s requests
  • Arranging meetings, conference calls and handling general phone calls
  • Arranging travel
  • Dealing with new (client) requests using internal tools
  • Billing and invoices management
  • Assisting with other administrative and legal activities for the office

Essential Skills and Experience :
  • Fluent in English, French and Dutch (written and spoken)
  • Relevant experience in a law firm preferred but not mandatory
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Service oriented, proactive, team player yet autonomous
  • Good knowledge of Windows (Word, Excel and Outlook)
