Hybrid, full-time 12-month FTC based in Birmingham, offering up to £60,000 per annum depending on experience.

Are you a board-level Executive Assistant looking for the next step in your career? Would like to work for an internationally-recognised business, supporting at C-Suite level? Then this could be the role for you! Based in Birmingham, the successful applicant will be providing direct support to the CEO, as well as the Chief of Staff and Head of the Executive Office, being responsible for providing a wide range of support to facilitate their ability to lead the organisation.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Providing proactive and efficient management of complex diaries and inboxes
  • Producing and collating documents, presentations and briefings
  • Undertaking research and sourcing, including interpretating and responding to information provided by both internal and external stakeholders
  • Arranging and attending meetings, taking minutes and ensuring any points raised are followed-up
  • Arranging and budgeting complex travel arrangements, both nationally and internationally
  • Planning, organising and arranging events with high-profile clients
  • Leading both internal and external initiatives
  • People management duties; supervising and managing a small team, identifying opportunities for development, and supporting staff through periods of change
Prospective applicants must have previous experience providing executive support at board level for an organisation of a similar calibre. They must have outstanding organisation and decision-making skills, being able to use their judgement and sensitivity to optimise the CEO’s time as efficiently and effectively as possible. Interpersonal, communication and teamworking skills must also be exceptional.
