Excel Careers is a division of Angela Mortimer plc, the leading British recruitment consultancy established in London more than 3 decades ago. We employ over 100 consultants in 6 major European cities in the UK, France and Belgium.


As part of the continuing growth of our Brussels office, we are currently looking for an Office Operations Coordinator/HR Assistant to strengthen our team. This person will grow towards the position of Recruitment Consultant after a training period.


Your responsibilities

Recruitment-related duties:

  • Screening CVs
  • Administering and correcting tests
  • Supervising the candidates while they are taking their tests
  • Providing administrative support to the Consultants
  • Participating in the preparation of client and candidate events
  • Liaising with the offices in the UK and France
  • Doing general research work
  • Preparing and following up on commercial projects
  • Preparing the monthly statistical report

Operational tasks:

  • Performing reception duties
  • Welcoming candidates and visitors
  • Handling phone calls, emails and correspondence
  • Preparing mailings
  • Carrying out office management duties (ordering office supplies, comparing the prices of the market, etc.)
  • Organizing the monthly meetings
  • Managing different projects
  • Filing and archiving
  • Scanning invoices


Your profile

  • You are a dynamic graduate, holder of a Bachelor's degree, interested in a career that will evolve to a Junior Consultant role
  • You speak English and French and/or Dutch
  • You have a good knowledge of Word and Excel
  • You are motivated, patient and organized
  • You are ambitious, proactive and have good communication skills
