Excel Careers and Excel Interim provide multilingual administrative support staff to companies across all sectors, specializing in profiles such as Receptionists, Management Assistants, Executive / Personal Assistants, HR Assistants, Sales & Marketing Assistants, Office Managers, Customer Service Representatives and Digital Marketing Officers. We provide both permanent and interim contracts.

We are currently recruiting a Marketing and Business Develoment for one of our clients, an international firm located in Brussels to contribute significantly to shaping the firm's communication strategy and support in the advancement of business development initiatives in Belgium.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the local and international Business Development team, and our partners to establish and execute a comprehensive communication strategy aligned with the firm's business development objectives
  • Develop, implement, and coordinate both internal and external communication plans (campaigns) while managing the amplification of campaign messages across all channels
  • Take charge of communication initiatives with a commercial focus tailored to specific target groups within the firm
  • Work in tandem with Business Development team to create, edit, and update marketing materials, including website content, fact sheets, templates, client presentations/pitches, lawyer profiles, and executive summaries for legal submissions
  • Draft and publish various communications to enhance the visibility of deal news, publications, award/ranking announcements, and speaking engagements. Ensure consistent messaging and positioning across the firm's corporate website, LinkedIn, and intranet
  • Collaborate with lawyers to edit legal updates, newsletters, and blogs. Develop templates for various legal publications to streamline content creation
  • Craft and edit invitations for client events, ensuring a professional and engaging tone
  • Take charge of the daily management of our LinkedIn page and maintain records and reports on online and digital (media) activities of competitors and other stakeholders
  • Provide communication coaching to our lawyers, emphasizing the enhancement of writing skills and delivering effective social media training

Your Profile:

  • A self-reliant individual and a team player who thrives in a proactive environment
  • Possess hands-on experience (min. 5 years) with marketing and communication strategies, with a track record of practical implementation in a corporate setting, preferably within a law or professional services firm
  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills in English, along with a good command of Dutch and French
  • Showcase excellent editing and proofreading abilities with a keen eye for detail
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, flexibility, and creativity
  • Have experience working with a Content Management Tool and a CRM (InterAction)
