Our long established and globally renowned finance client is urgently seeking an outstanding Facilities Manager.

A senior post, playing a crucial role to support the business, requiring solid experience as a Facilities Manager with a proven track record in facilities operations and team leadership.

The focus of the role is to oversee the smooth operation of building systems and office services, including reception, café/tea points, cleaning, security, building maintenance, post room, MER room, and more. You will lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams across cleaning, maintenance, reception, catering, and post room functions, ensuring efficient service delivery.

As FM, you will develop, manage and track preventative maintenance programs for critical infrastructure, such as UPS systems, HVAC, plumbing, and emergency power systems, including on-demand repairs 24/7.

Responsibilities will include monitoring and managing the Building Management System (BMS), responding to alerts and ensuring the effective functioning of systems both during and outside of standard office hours.

A strong technical knowledge of critical infrastructure systems, including UPS systems, HVAC, power distribution etc. is essential.

You will also:

• Oversee seating arrangements for staff and visitors, including international guests.

• Manage multiple priorities simultaneously, working independently with minimal supervision.

• Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage challenging situations in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.

• Obvious leadership and mentorship abilities, fostering a positive work environment for direct reports.

• Happy with 5 days in, 8-5.30pm but flexible - clock watchers will not work in this role.

Although a senior position and strong experience is key, personality and attitude play a big factor too.
